The State of Ohio has lifted the ban on Tele-Health MMJ card appointments as an emergency response to COVID-19.
The medical marijuana program, run by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and the Commerce Department, has grown exponentially over the past year. Fully launched in April 2019, the program saw $2.2 million in sales for over 300 pounds of medical marijuana.
Ohio continues to put its best foot forward regarding marijuana and its residents. Rather than continuing to arrest individuals for small drug crimes, the Ohio Senate doubled its decriminalization amount of marijuana and reduced other criminal penalties.
